A: No, Captain George Rettew and the Benmar have all required licenses for fishing the Long Island Sound in the states of Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York.
Q: What happens if a trip is cancelled by the Captain?
A: If the trip is cancelled by the captain (any time before the boat is to have left the dock) due to weather, other reasons, you will be offered other available dates to reschedule or your deposit will be refunded. Should a cancellation by the Captain be required, an attempt to notify you will be made as early as possible.
Q: What happens if a trip is cancelled by me?
A: If the trip is cancelled by you, with less than 2 weeks advance notice, your deposit will not be returned.
Q: Could my trip end earlier than scheduled and do I get my money back if this happens?
A: No. Early returns may be be deemed necessary by the Captain for the safety of passengers and crew. Possible reasons for early return include, but are not limited to: severe weather/water conditions or passenger behavior that could be considered unsafe by the Captain or crew. Refunds are not provided under these circumstances.
